What Is R.O ?

R.O is a result of over 30 years and 4 billion USD worth of research by a group of scientists from NASA.
( It would require 700 pounds of additional energy costing more than USD10,000 to enable one astronaut to carry an extra 1kg of water)

Reverse Osmosis is a process in which water is forced through a semi-permeable membrane by applying very strong pressure to the feed-water side of the R.O membrane, enabling the water molecules to pass through the membrane to other side.

The diameter of the pores or apertures of the high technology R.O membrane is 0.0001 micron. This permits only the passage of water molecules through the R.O membrane, while approximately 99% of impurities including micro-organisms, harmful substances and other dissolved pollutants are rejected and drained out.

The results in only pure water passing through the R.O membrane and proceeding to storage
